Announcement

PYPP has relocated to the Community Technology Center (CTC) at Passaic County Community College (PCCC) for classes beginning October 1, 2011. The CTC is located at 218 Memorial Drive, Paterson, NJ.

Classes

PYPP's basic digital photography classes meet from 10:15 to 11:30 on Saturday mornings. Please note that class will begin at 10:15 sharp!

Classes will take place in Room 209, a computer lab on the 2nd floor of the CTC, in the Fall (October-December) and Winter (January-April). PYPP students go on "walking" field trips during class, and they occasionally go on other field trips throughout the year.

PYPP students are 8-15 years old. They do not need to have any previous knowledge of photography for the basic class. PYPP loans a digital camera to each student; the camera must be returned at the end of the semester. Students take all their photos home on a CD.

Registration

To register for PYPP classes, contact info@pypp.org to request an application. Applications for the Fall semester will be mailed out (with a return envelope) around September 1 and accepted students will be notified around September 22. Applications for the Winter semester will be mailed out around December 30 and accepted students will be notified around January 20.

The first 15 students to apply will be accepted based on the postmark date on their applications. The fee is $25 per student; this covers the entire semester. The fee is non-refundable after the first class and non-transferable.
